Taika used to put her own twist on Elvis-songs from his movies with her ukulele ( aka Preslisa). Since she has MS she turned her back on the technicolor-Elvis-movie-world to explore the highs and lows of her feelings and thoughts. On that journey, she has manufactured songs ( still armed with her ukulele, still kind of pop) that are deep and light at the same time – as sad as they might be, there is always a spark of hope, a twinkle of an eye. She calls them: Survival Songs.
